An excellent representation of what South African Chardonnay can achieve, this wine is expressive and refined, opening with enticing aromas of citrus and stone fruit. On the palate, it offers a creamy texture, the result of extended lees ageing and maturation in French oak barriques, and is layered with nuances of vanilla, honey, and a delicate minerality that adds elegance and poise.
Its long, graceful finish invites another sip, or perhaps another glass. Certainly a reason to raise a toast in celebration!
