Aaldering Estate Cabernet Sauvignon / Merlot 2020

Deep red in colour with a garnet rim. A melange of blackcurrant, mulberries and raspberries leads on the nose and is backed by lead pencil shavings, cigar box notes, roasted coffee beans, dark chocolate, and warm spices. A full-bodied palate with tight, linear tannins and a well-balanced acidity lends itself to the rich berry fruit. The Merlot adds beautiful depth to the mid-palate whilst the Cabernet Sauvignon rounds off this complex marriage of the two Nobel cultivars.
